Do I need my own RC vehicle?

No! You can rent an RC vehicle from Gripzone RC. If you already have a suitable RC vehicle, you can choose the BYO (Bring Your Own) option for experiences where BYO is available.

Do I need to book in advance?

Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, but we recommend booking online in advance to secure your preferred experience and time.

I've never driven an RC vehicle before. Can I still participate?

Absolutely! Beginners are welcome. Our team will give you a short introduction and help you understand the controls before you start.

What experiences do you offer?

We offer four indoor RC experiences: 1/10 Crawler Adventure, 1/18 Crawler Adventure, 1/18 Drift Adventure, and RC Construction Sand Pit.

How long are the sessions?

Our 1/10 and 1/18 Crawler Adventures are 45 minutes, the 1/18 Drift Adventure is 30 minutes, and the RC Construction Sand Pit is 45 minutes.

Can children participate?

Yes, subject to the minimum age specified for each experience. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Does the accompanying adult need to pay?

Accepted Answer

No. If an adult is only accompanying and supervising a child, they do not need to purchase a session. If they would also like to drive or operate an RC vehicle, they will need their own booking.

Can I bring my own RC car?

Yes, for experiences where BYO is available. Your RC vehicle must be suitable for the relevant track and safe to operate. If you're unsure, ask our team before booking.

Can I use my own RC car in any of the tracks?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Different tracks are designed for different vehicle types and scales. Our team may restrict vehicles that could damage the track, interfere with other RC vehicles or create a safety risk.

What is the RC Construction Sand Pit?

It's a hands-on RC construction experience where you can operate realistic remote-controlled construction machinery such as excavators, loaders and other construction vehicles in our dedicated indoor Sand Pit.

Can we operate multiple construction machines together?

Yes. You can book multiple machines, subject to availability, making the Construction Sand Pit a great experience for friends and families.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your booked session, especially when renting an RC vehicle. This gives you enough time to check in and receive a short introduction.

What happens if I'm late?

Accepted Answer

Your session will still end at its scheduled time, so arriving late may reduce your driving time. If you arrive too late to complete a required introduction or safety briefing, participation cannot be guaranteed.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Yes. You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled session. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session and no-shows are non-refundable.

What happens if a rental RC vehicle has a technical problem?

Tell a member of our team immediately. Where possible, we'll provide a replacement vehicle or another appropriate solution so you can continue enjoying your experience.

Do you sell RC cars and accessories?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We sell selected RC vehicles and products at our shop. If you enjoy your experience and want to get into the hobby yourself, our team can help you explore suitable options.

Can I take photos and videos?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You're welcome to take photos and videos of your RC experience for personal use. Please respect the privacy of other visitors, particularly children.

Where is Gripzone RC?

We're located at Ryttmästaregatan 3, 415 05 Göteborg. The nearby public transport stops include Göteborg SKF and Bellevue.

Is parking available?

Yes, parking is available in the surrounding area. Please check the signs and applicable parking conditions for the particular parking area you use.

Can I charge my own RC batteries at Gripzone RC?

Accepted Answer

Please ask our team before charging any personal batteries at the venue. For safety reasons, damaged, swollen or otherwise unsafe LiPo batteries cannot be used or charged.

Can I bring friends or family to watch?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Friends and family are welcome to accompany participants, subject to venue capacity and safety requirements. Please keep track and activity areas clear for participants.

What if Gripzone RC cancels my session?

If we need to cancel your booking, you'll be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Are the Opening Special prices permanent?

Accepted Answer

No. Opening Special prices are limited-time introductory rates and may change in the future. The price of an already confirmed and paid booking will not be affected.
